Safety
Kelly Builders, Inc. has an established Safety Committee and has
written safety programs both for general application and for project
specific conditions. KBI places high emphasis on the need to maintain
a safe working environment for our employees and subcontractors as
well as for non-construction people who may need to work in or around
our area of operations. Our staff is trained in and other life
safety requirements, therefore choosing KBI will allow for every opportunity
of providing a healthy environment for those involved in the area
of construction, including your customers should your business remain
open during the building or renovation process.
Methods of Cost Control
1) KBI employs skilled
carpenters and labor that are used to ensure that work will
be completed on time and that our expected quality is maintained.
2) We always collect three bids from each sub trade for our
projects, which allows for competitive bidding. We only use
trusted subs so owners can be sure that they are receiving quality
work at the best price possible.
3) As the project continues along there may arise the need or
desire for the Owner to make changes to the scope of work. We
control our pricing by offering a set limit to the percentage
of profit and overhead mark-up that is added to these changes.
This percentage will be listed and made a part of the construction
contract. As well, each request or change to the scope of work
will be submitted with support information from the subcontractors
and suppliers.

Architectural Experience
Dale Leatherman, President and Ron Cimino, Project Manager bring
over 25 years of architectural experience to our projects. This
allows us to work well with the Architect's Office when issues of
cost saving deletions are being considered. We focus on areas that
we feel can save the project money, while at the same time try to
preserve the Architect's design of the project.
